Meet Susan Marchese:
Susan Marchese is a writer. She writes a monthly newsletter for her fashion blog: Lifestyles of a Fashionista. In her blog she writes about trends in fashion and lifestyle, including a post about what to watch. After writing for her blog since 2011, and watching Judy Blume’s Masterclass, Susan decided to write a book. She was inspired by a fashion staple for women, the black dress. After tossing around different ways to write about a black dress she landed on a story with a fashion designer who creates a dress like Princess Diana’s black revenge dress.
She’s working on her first novel that begins in Paris during fashion week. The protagonist, Serena, takes on a Russian investor to create her first fashion line. After a death at her fashion show, she gets brought into a CIA investigation of the Russian woman and her ex-husband and their superfake business.
